i traded in my 2008 2dr 6sp stock x 24,500 miles for a 2011 2dr 6spd rubi. the stock x held its resale value pretty well. i bought it for $19,500 and and traded it in for $17,500. going from the stock to a rubi i felt like i was sitting in the space shuttle. still not sure what all those buttons do but i'll have fun figuring it out. alot has changed in the modes in just 3 years. i actually needed help at the dealer taking the new soft top down .

Congrats! You are right about resale value. THat is why I purchased our JKU new. To me it didn't make sense to buy a 2 or 3 year old JKU and only save $3.

congrats! I would love to have a Rubi, but I am having a hard time warming up to the new interior. Im sure it will happen eventually. took me awhile to warm up to the 4door and I now have one haha.

That resale is ridiculous. Im trying to keep my JK cherry just in case I ever decide to trade it in for a diesel Wrangler pick up ( when jeep finally catches on and makes one)

Bought our new JK for less money than the used ones we had been looking at. The used ones either weren't as well equipped or had a ton of miles. Or both.
