ended up buying one by rugged ridge for 29 dollars, on 4wd.com- I will post pics when I get it sometime next week. Hope it looks good...

I have the RR one... better price for virtually the same thing. I should bedline it one of these days.

Isnt that supposed to go on the other way? I thought it was meant to force more air in?

if i remember its to help keep dust from being sucked into the HVAC system.

It can go on either way. The air running down the windshield at speed goes into it. I got it mostly to keep debris, leaves and snow from getting inside.

x2 on this. I was under the assumption that this is the correct position to prevent dust, debris, snow etc. from getting in the vents.

Love it. I think the 4 pound limit was just a safe estimate so no one would try to attach a roof rack to it or something.

I might reverse the scoop when I paint it, just to see if anything changes.
