Air dam rite of passage (aka tearing it off on the trail)
It seems that tearing off (or nearly tearing off) the front plastic air dam is a rite of passage for JK owners where they make the transition from simple to more serious wheeling.
In my case, I was in the Colorado mountains yesterday on a trail called Ironclads. The soil on that trail is a sandy mix. While trying to do the right thing and put my front tire on a rock, it spun under the jeep in the wet sand and nearly hung up in the suspension. Backing off of this, rrriiiipppp.
Let's see your pics and hear your stories.

just ripped mine off about a week ago. went into a mud hole that looked like one of the easiest of the day, got 2 feet in and the front end dropped about 2.5 feet. took 15 minutes trying to get out. when i finally did, it was just hanging there.
