Huh I stop by the jeep dealer the other day They told me that you had emailed them. I had the Jeep welded up at a place up in Seymour call jwt racing. The guy is a wicked welder Does a lot of rediculous fabrication. Basically I just bought the gussets run up there and paid for his time. It was like 90 bucks I had the uppers notched for spring clearance.

I think when they told me you have a dana 30 front no lockers. Actually I am going to the jeep dealer tomorrow. I can tell them I talked to you in that way they can get you a good price for ya that isn't confusing.

thanks man, yea i asked for a price for the welding of the sleeves/gussets and the gears if i provided all of the parts - and they quoted me two separate numbers and said they didnt weld differentials. I'm on the fence about starting this phase of the build now or next year so i kinda just let it go and figured I'd ask again when I was more certain of my timetable.

Hey Murdoc I talked to the dealer today. Just as I did, you supply the gearsets and master kits and they simply provide the labor. I assumed you do not have any lockers and have a Dana 30 front/44 rear combo and it works out to about 5 hrs an axle straight labor.

Update:

Did some test flexin today! Figured it to be best to test close by then out on the trail. ZERO rubbing anywhere Altho I need to get myself a set of rear brake lines as they get a wee bit "Taught" shall we say. Went home and retourqued the entire Jeep. Not one issue.

Looks Great!

Lol 530 Whp in this thing would be fun. My neighbor's Brother in law just got TWO Evenrude outboards for his boat ... Etech-300's. Yeah 2 300 Hp V-6 outboards. Saw em loading up this morning.

Now if I had some time to plan carefully and a 9-iron , a stuffed buffalo , a welder , some turbo-lax , a paperclip 3 rubber bands and a sterno ... LOL
