That sucks glad you are GTG.
Get the body shop to check EVERYTHING under your Jeep.
Get the dealer to check at EVERTHING under your Jeep.
It's the stuff you can't see that causes failures 6 months down the road.

dammit all to hell... the jeep is back in the shop. the idiots "forgot" to look at the rear axle. they thought the "squeak" was already there before... yeah right. in the write up from the manager, it stated, "rear axle damage, dis-assemble for diagnostic" but they didn't even look at it. they just gave it a 4 wheel alignment and said f-it. sooo... its back in the shop, but the one closer to my home and the one i've been using all the time before. they didn't have a body shop which is why i had to go to their other location. anyway, they have it and apparently its something really bad because they are having to tear the whole rear end apart (again, once before to rebuild the locker).
anyway... got myself another rent-a-car... it was this or a prius...
atleast i got to enjoy the 3-day weekend with the doors off and the top down before it went back in the shop.

Ask them how many vehicles do they know of come with a full box frame and a steel roll cage? The Jeep is very safe... for everyone.

Finally!
i finally got my jeep back and everything is fixed. 7 weeks later!!
after driving that pt cruiser for a while, driving the jeep feels so high up. and its interesting that i got used to how that cruiser would sort of roll around a corner, and would follow to ruts in the road due to it being light and small... the jeep feels even lighter on its feat but handles like a dream compared to it. oh i'm so happy to have it back!!

so in all it was ~$4000 in damages... got a new door, new rock slider, new door still piece, repainted the right side of my jeep, replaced both rear axle shafts, both rotors, brakes, and also got 2 new wheels.
