AEV rear bar and congo cage

AEV rear bar and congo cage
I have the AEV rear bar on my 2dr rubicon and i scored a congo cage for the right price, knowing very well that the two are not compatible. Im looking for any opinions or thought anyone may have on how to mount the rear ''legs" of the cage.
One thought put forward is to fab a mount onto a set of corner guards (steel)?
Maybe weld a mount onto the tube side section of the rear bar? Though i kinda want to avoid the possibility of weakening the rear bar.
I am totally open for any input. i really like the bar and the cage will be awsome.........if i can get them to play together.
