AEV 2.5" Lift, Pintlers, and Durtracs Installed
I'm new to Jeeps, so still in that steep learning curve. I did a lot of reading and research after buying our 2013 Sahara a few weeks ago. To keep it usable for daily use, I kept the lift and tire size conservative.
Lift is AEV 2.5" Dual Sport. Went on great. I'm not completely new to Jeep lifts as I helped my brother-in-law install lifts on two of his JK's. This lift install was very smooth. Typical headache with the right front shock install, but otherwise no real problems. I also installed the control arm brackets.
I love the Pintlers. I know there are tons of pics out there but they look even better in person. The offset is perfect as I was looking to have the tire right at the edge of the fender.
Rides and drives very close to stock. You can hear the Duratracs very slightly at speed, but hardly noticeable. I have these on my truck so I knew what to expect, and I'm just as impressed with them on the Jeep.
Sorry, only garage pics for now, didn't get it all done until after dark last night. Here's the pics:

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Bottom line is I have a Jeep I like to look at now and it's still great as a DD for my wife.
Hey nice Jeep! I was afraid the 33's would look too small since the lift was designed around 35's. Looking at both of our Jeeps, I think the 33's work great.
Thankfully we have different colors because I was planning to add the Mopar fuel cap as well--hate it if we had identical-looking Jeeps.

35's do look nice, but the 33's look great too. I got the lift last year, AEV's front bumper is in the works right now so your still behind me a little. Plus your one state over, even if we had the same color we'd rarely be in the same spot. I do like your Blue though. Just a bit too dark for me, the surf blue was more my favorite blue they have made so far. We haven't had any snow since I put my lift on last February, had a chance to drive in the snow yet?
