Added Front 4 door Rubi springs to my 2 door X
I have a 2" BB but with the weight of the bumper and winch still rub the flares with 33's. So I swaped out my front stock springs(6313/6314) for a set off of a 4 door Rubicon(6317s)

Some backyard flexing after the install, hitting the bumpstops and not even close to rubbing. Guess it is time to start saving for 35's.

dood, its hard to believe you got 2" in front just from changing those springs. thats insane. I had the same reference change as you, and i only got 3/4".
14/15 to 18/18's. (4 door rubicon hardtop springs)
3/4" gain.

I think it's the added weight he had that made the difference. Without the added weight to the front the change would have been less significant, but the stiffer springs made a bigger compensation.

I wasn't expecting that much after reading some other threads like plac's, I was hoping to get just a little to eliminate the minor rubbing I get at full flex. Unsprung the rubi springs were only 1 1/4" taller than my X springs but evidently they are quite a bit stiffer. I'm thrilled with the results, now just have to try out the change on the trail.

Nice goin' JD! I even with my OME 617s I rub on full flex.
If JM lets you loose on the 35s, we may have to talk about you 33s. I'm tareing up mine pretty good following you around RC.

33's are probably staying for now, I think I want to beef up the front axle and add a rear bumper/tire carrier before going to 35's unfortunatly none of that is in the budget right now.
