for clarification - you don't have to adjust you rubi rails....actually now that I think about it I don't think you can. The washers need to be trimmed so they can fit into the mounting holes in the ACE rails. I used a hacksaw to do the job. If you have an unlimited you'll need to do 3 on ea. side with the newer design. If you have a 2 dr you'll be trimming 2 on ea. side. Any way you look at it these are one of the easiest to install on your jeep. Very sturdy and very well made. My kids use them every single day as a step with sand and dirt in their shoes....the finish is still holding up strong!

Here's a good thread

i bought my ace rails back in the fall... no complaints, no regrets. i think i'm goping to scuff'em up and hit them with spray on bedliner soon though to match my RR XHD bumper texture a little better.

My buddy just bought a 2012 2dr and he bought a set as well. You cant beat the price

Can someone that is running with the Ace Rails/Sliders post up a pic of the rear pinch seam...I just want to get an idea od the length. Installed are they the same length as the Stock Rubi Rails? I hope that they are shorter so that I can trim my seams and rubi-rails and still run these with minimium lift 2.5-3" and 37's in the future...currently running 35's

Mine is in the shop right now or I would get a picture for you. If nobody gets one up in the next few hours, I'll post one here.

Yes, the ACE rails are shorter than the Rubi rails. If you are in need of a trim, the ACE rails will not inhibit you. You would have to have a pretty big tire to hit the ACE rails.
