How did you manage to get the sliders on order? Was that an approved purchase?

I wanted to do something similar. But once I got the plastic off and saw how thin that metal is I put the plastic back on. I thought it would have a little more to it as far as metal thickness, but I was sadly disapointed. Guess I'll just be savin up for a real bumper.

Yes it was, thats why she freaked out cause I just ordered sliders a few weeks back and thought I bought a bumper too.
