Default Accused of purchase (w/lights)

The wife was out for a few hours yesterday and I got bored. Got tired of looking at the huge chunk of plastic on the front so I removed it and done some work on the steel bumper, some under coating and plugs for the holes and cut about 2" off the ends but left the holes to mount the plastic back on if need be. She arrived back home stormed in the house and let me have it about spending money on the Jeep, I had to prove to her that all I done was remove the plastic. Funny thing is she went school shopping for the kids but just so happened she found cloths for herself too. I need about $50.00 more and I'll order my new bumper but this should work for the time being.

Looks good. Is that the stock air dam underneath the bumper of a skid plate?

Alittle confused about the question. That is the stock plastic air dam, I have no skid plate on my X.

Welcome to life of a married man.
When Wal * Mart runs low in stock on womens clothes they call my wife to see if she has it in stock. She usually does.
If Wal * Mart doesn't see my wife for more than week they send my wife a get well card.
I guess we all have a cross to bear.

You have to give her at least a little credit for recognizing the mod

How dare you think about cutting into your wife's clothing budget!
