Default 5.7 vs 6.1-help

I know I want to do a hemi swap but I cant decide on which one. Is there that much difference in the 5.7 vs the 6.1? I know there is about 85hp differece but.....

Opinions from those that have driven both in a JK?

I've driven neither, but I'd think that the 5.7 would be plenty for me. Especially given the big difference in price.

I think that a 6.1 and D44 with 37" tires would blow sky high. Should be fine with a D60. I'd probably get the 5.7 and spend the difference on a Dynatrac Pro Rock 60 for the rear.

OMG I wanna go rockclimbin with u! I want to do the 6.1 SRT from COR but I want a straight drive. I had a 5.7 in my 05 Ram and with a CAI and Flowmaster Duals I had plenty of power and I know that my Ram weighed a lot more than a JK.

I've read that the 5.7 swap is much easier and that everything fits better. Just go here and browse:

And I think the 5.7's (at least some of them) have the feature that lets them run on 4 cylinders when cruising. That saves a significant amount of fuel. I forget what this is called.
