4" Full Traction Premium Lift Installed
Finally got my turn in our weekend garage. I, being a computer geek, haven't logged tons of wrench time but I've been a regular in weekend projects at my highschool buds garage working on Subaru's, BMW's, Mustangs etc. This weekend was my turn.
While I didn't get to turn every wrench I did get some QT under the Jeep. We had to get a little creative when getting the Jeep onto the stands but after that we figured out the rest with the help of one of our other buds who grew up on a farm working on tons of live axel equipment.
4 Large Pizza's a 30 pack of Coors Light and a few rounds at this weeks Happy Hour and I'll be damned if it isn't worth it.
Old "Before" shot:
Crappy "After" shot I'll replace tonight:
MDF to the rescue
Tearing down
Building Up
One of the other patients
Front down Back to go
Installation Lap Complete

I think the best thing about the entire install was my wife showing up with the front end completely torn down. The look on her face was priceless...
My wife's first words when I drove home were "oh that's all." Apparently she thought I was building a monster truck. Although her tone changed a touch as she had to climb in to go to dinner... time to get some new sliders with step bars

Actually that's the bro in the third pic setting the jack stand's used STI he had just bought the past weekend. We were replacing the fart kit the kid had put on it. Also had a 2001 Bullit an autocross ready Impreza RS and the Bullit owners WRX daily driver.
Those are the normal occupants of the garage on the weekends
