I don't see how it would be possible not to regear. I have a Rubicon Unlimited 6 speed and the thing is a dog on 32's. But I'm still waiting for it to break in, so I hope it gains some power.

yeah but these things aren't made to be fast... lol they do put these engines in minivans...


anyway... do the jeeps with the trailer hitch always have 4.10s? thanks

I dont think you can get 4:10s unless you have a Rubi or an 07 with tow... Right? I thought you could only get the 3:73s (tow option) from 08+

That is correct I have a 07 and ordered the tow package and it came with 4.11 gears. In 08 they changed it . I guess people complained about gas mileage or something.

It's not great but do-able, yes. I have been running 4.10's on mine for a while now. You'll get by, a manual transmission does help quite a bit though.
