Strange that 37's wear good but smaller wear uneven. Where did you hear they use a different rubber compound for the 37's?

I believe after a certain production date they changed compounds on all of them or something in the production process to make them more consistent.

Pretty much what I heard and it was from various people on various forums. Which is why I gave them a second go around.

I'd love to hear from someone that has 37" mtr's with some decent mileage on them.

My 37's MT/R are great, balanced with no issue and work great. I've got about 10K on them so far with no unusual wear.

Fwiw, I'm running 37" toyo open country on my 08 unlimited. 35k on so far and still at 17/32 tread. My old 35's had 25k when I switched to the 37's, and I sold them for 800 because they still had 19/32 of tread.

BTW, Cupping and other tire wear issues is caused by suspension problems and bad alignment. ANY tire will get these problems if the front end isn't right. Also, 90% of the time cupping is front bad or incorrect shocks.

I came off of KM2's - I liked how they performed - wear not so much.

When it came time for new shoes I went with the Toyo's O/C's, just to try something else. I love how these tires perform - traction galore... However, the are some heavy "sumzabeach's"... Load rating, tread depth and 3 ply's make these some beefy tires... As you can see in the pic's, I had tire pressure at 12lbs and hardly buldged the side walls. 8lbs is normally where I'm at for crawling and they will not slip... In fact, I'm now looking at going with some steering assist - LOL

Here's some posing pics with my buds in Sedona...

Default mtrs

i have them as 35s 2nd set! ( mtrs/ kevlar 37s go on next week) and the front wore down pretty good but cuz of some typical front end problems, but a buddy of mine at discount has had the 37s for quite some time and loves them and has had no problems!! .... its my ideal tire especially in michigan with the weather changes great in the snow good on the road! just from my experience!! i love um
