I would love to do this to my 11 JK sport. adding 35's
besides the tires what all do i need to do to my JK. do i need gears or need a tune for the tires or can i just swap out and go?

At a minimum I would say a 2.5" lift. Wheel spacers to create proper backbacing so you're not rubbing. As for gears, I have 4.10's but optimally for 35's you should probably go with 4.56's.
In your case it might not hurt to upgrade to a D44 front (although depending on who you talk to, the jury is still out on that depending on whether or not you wheel at all). Some upgraded ball joints will most likely be in your future.

looking at picking up the Rock Krawler 2.5 flex system with shocks. I also have wheel spacers already.
was looking at purchasing and installing the tires before the lift if it was possible.
I want the jeep for more of an expedition type. not hard rock climbing
