Because we don't all need one right away. 2WD was the only one in my price range, and i knew i could make it 4WD with minimal cost. Also we are not all made of money, I am a college student. I wanted a Jeep, needed a newer one to last me awhile, and 4 doors. 2WD was only in my budget, i searched and learned it's easy to upgrade.

I'm not made of money either. I'm 70% water and only a mere 30% $100 bills. But I'm 6' 2", so I guess I'll survive.

I don't currently run the crawler but it's a very interesting mod that I just might do. You will need something to connect the two pieces. I assume the crawler will come with a shorter version of the shaft but it might not. I would say your best bet is to call the manufacture and ask. Please post what you find out.

For some reason the US specs don't show it any more. I have an exploded view that I can send you with every thing you will need and more. They might not be the correct part numbers but it will point you in the right direction. My dealership helped me a lot with these parts. We had to look up the shaft in the European exploded view. Thank god the dealership had access to it. Pm me with your email address if you want the ex/view.

It comes as one piece and bolts to the factory holes.
