IMO, they don't. I think they don't look right on the 2 door, too tall and short, kind of redneck dodge trucky. I think the 4 doors can get by with a lot larger tire than the 2 door. To me, perfection on a 2 door is a 2.5" and 33's on stock wheels with spacers. (BTW, no compensation bias here are anything. I have been checking out other rigs on the trail and trolling the pics of 2 doors with 33's vs 2 doors with 35's for months now to decide which I like best, 33's win in my book.)

Most people argue that 35's on a 2dr are the most modest offroad look and that they almost look like they were meant for a 2dr, just like 37s are a great fit for 4drs
