Default 295/70/17 fit with no lift and spacers?

I know this is somewhere on here but would like some more recent answers. I'm so tired of the stock 255s. I'm looking at either getting 295/70/17s or 33x12.50/17s. Ill be getting 1.5 inch spidertrax spacers regardless of which tire I choose. I won't have the money for a lift for at least a few months as I'm paying for my wedding that's next month. Is anyone running this set up that can't help me out. I can't deal with a little rubbing since I won't be flexing much. No rocks in Louisiana just mud

Cut dem fenders and you'd be ready to rock, Jack! Friend of mine ran 37's for a few days on the street until his lift arrived!

I live in LA and I got 33 Mickey Thompson Bajas and ran them for about a week with no lift and they did fine. No chopped fenders, no stubby bumper, nothing. Now that I have my lift on, I go mudding a good bit and the Mickey Ts have great traction in this LA mud. Highly recommend them and they seem like they would fit your bill perfectly!

Thanks man. Are those 33x12.50s or 285s you run?
