No rubbing at all. they run fine on stock suspension. I have now put on about 3000 miles on them and they are great. no real snow yet to test them out but they are better than stock KM's in the rain and aren't too noisy. my gas mileage did drop a bit (from average of 18 to 17.3) although the temperature is now colder too. acceleration is slightly slower, mostly due to larger size and weight but overall, I am very happy with the tires and would do it again. It is nice not having to run spacers and use factory rims.

I had them last winter and they suck in the snow compared to the KM's. Someone suggested getting them siped (sp) to add grooves for traction? Don't know if that would help, but they need something!!!

Must say, I've had BFG A/Ts (265s) and Dakota M/Ts (285s) on my '07 with 16 inch wheels ... always thought they were a hair too small still. These shoes just seem to fit right. Also, I had the middle lugs siped ... if we ever get some freakin' snow I'll report back.

I just installed 255/80 R17 BFG KM2's on my Rubicon yesterday...
I was pleasantly surprised how much taller they are than the stock BFG KM's.. I was expecting the worst case scenario, what with all the "BFG's run small" mumbo jumbo that goes on..
they do measure more than 33" tall unmounted...
when mounted and measured from the ground to the top of the tire... right at 32.5".. that's with the weight on the Jeep with about 35 psi... One of my pet peeves is when people post tire measurements and don't even say whether they're mounted, vehicle weight one them, tire pressure or anything..
this is 255/80 R17 on stock wheels with no spacers... My rubi has stock 4-door springs (18's and 59's from wifey's JKU) plus 3/4" coil spacers all around... rear bumper is JCR Offroad... stock tire carrier... front bumper is modified stock stubby without plastic.. my Jeep sits perfectly level with heavy rear and light front bumpers

Glad to see the tall skinny thing starting to take off a little. I am still waiting on my bumpers and fenders, but these tires got me keep coming back to this thread.
