It's the standard so-called 2 inch lift, regular duty. It's actually about 3 inches, and you'd need to get sway bar end links from somewhere else. I love it. Rides well, performs fantastically.

How tall are the tires? I know they're listed as 33 and some change, but I've heard different measurements from actual owners

Thinking of going this route, so my question to all who have gone with the skinny 33"s do any of you regret it and wish you had gone with 285/70/17's instead? Thanks

No regrets at all. They're perfect for what I do.

No regrets and they are about 32.5 inches with truck on them, about an inch more than stock......here are pics (I was able to stretch spare cover over one with considerable stretching)

OK, I just want to be sure about these before I pluck down the dough. 1. Are they indeed an inch larger in diameter than the OEM BFG KM that is 255/75/17? 2. Are they Skinner than the KM? 3. Do the 285/70/17 KM2's stick out from the fender flares and would this size require spacers to avoid rubbing with a 2 inch lift? (I just installed a 2 inch AeV spacer lift.)

I'm 90% decided on the 255/70's but I don't want any regrets, such as having them be so skinny as to look odd on the Jeep. The pics here look great, but you don't know until you see them in person. Anyone with these near Indy?

Please post more straight on pics, front and rear, with a low to bumper height camera angle. Jersey Mike, they look pretty good from your pics. Yours is giving me a good idea of what they'd look like on an unlimited. Tslothrop, yours from front and back would give the look with the lift.

Any help is appreciated!

Dan

Why did you need or want the spacers? Just curious because I'll have a similar setup.

1. Yes, they are indeed taller than the OEM 32"

2. Nope, same

3. I don't know this one as I have the 255/80/17 KM2's

Additional Picts

I hope this helps.

Wow! Thanks for the pics! These shots really gave me a better look at these tires. I drove through a local Jeep dealer's lot today, and looked at what the mechanics were driving. One of them had a 2 door JK with these very tires, so I got a really good up close look at them. I'm sold.

Now all I've got to do is to convince my wife to let me do it. My KM's still have some life left in them, so I'm going to try and sell them. I'm not sure what I can get out of them. A buddy that runs an off-road club thinks I can get $300 out of them, but I'd be tickled to get $200.

Discount tire told me I could be out the door for $1,150 for four, with lifetime balancing/rotation, including a $30 Visa gift card.

Does anyone know if there is a particular time of year when the discounts are higher?

I just ordered my KM2's!! $1100 out the door plus a $30 visa card from Discount tire. The down side is that they wont arrive until Monday.

Anyone interested in a set of factory Rubi KM's? They probably have about 15k miles left in them. I'll post the tread depth when I swap them out.
