Default 2014 Anvil Rubicon build

Ok, I've had some requests for some pics and descripts of my new Jeep. My wife surprised me with a 2014 rubi for my 40th. I had some parts laying around from my '07 but I also just went crazy and ordered what I wanted after changing my '07 multiple times.
Here's the night I picked it up,crappy pics but you get the ideaClick image for larger version

It came with a textured black hardtop so I sold that immediately. I had a smooth skin hardtop from my '07 that i knew I was going to get color matched.Click image for larger version

ID:	542301 I sent the Jeep to paint while I went crazy at Northridge 4x4. Big shout out to them for crazy customer service, forum discounts and free shipping! Apparently anvil is a tough color to match, the paint code only has one variant and the PPG guy spent 4 hours and 25 color sprays to get the color right.Click image for larger version

I ordered a Rock Krawler 3.5" max travel mid arm lift with Fox resi shocks and Fox ats stabilizer. I didn't run a stabilizer on my '07 but the Fox's adjustability is cool and stiffened up the front end steering "feel". I had Poison Spyder brawler stubby front bumper and their BFH rear but I couldn't bring myself to cut the rear crossmember from a new Jeep so I ordered the rock brawler II bumper.Click image for larger version

I had fresh 37" Nitto trail grapplers on Hutchinson beadlocks so I had my tire set up. I also had a Teraflex tire carrier and JW Speaker headlights and fogs too.Click image for larger version

ID:	542311 I ordered Poison Spyder flares and sent them to be color matched. I had the inner flares bedlined and the side of the flares that attach to the body wrapped in 4mil clear vinyl so there is no paint on paint rubbing. Click image for larger version

I used a lock pick to add the camera to the factory nav and so my kids can watch movies. It works flawless and is super easy to install.Click image for larger version

So, what's next? I'm selling the rock brawler II rear bumper and ordering the original rock brawler bumper. It's smaller and sits closer to the Jeep. I'm having the tub and inner rear fender wells line-x'd. I have to trim the rear wheel well of the tub before I head to Rausch Creek. I found out the hard way playing on some hills to test flex. Nothing a dead blow can't handle, lol. Drive shafts from Perry Hall Power Equipment, the guy who owns it is the biggest Jeeper I know(but hates jk's). I have 4.88's ready to go when my gear guy has a free Saturday to wrench with me. Mopar half doors from JEEPRUS. I may swap out the Teraflex tire carrier for the evo tire carrier and skins. Aaand a cage once the shine wears off the Jeep. If you have any questions or would like to see anything in particular just let me know. I'll add better pics of the Jeep to know that the weather seems to be breaking and I can actually clean the thing.

Good to see a build thread finally. Kinda funny you had a similar color unlimited as me before the anvil. I had a deep cherry red. Jeep looks great.

Haha! I already ditched the TF carrier. Jiggled way too much for my liking. Now i have to run my evo. Its much more solid. So worth the $$ too. Its just a pain to open is all. Wife hates it lol.
