I personally like the black hard top and fender look, but I have to tell you, that Natural Green Sahara with matching top and fenders does looks sharp! The interior looks right at home in it as well

I'm kinda have to agree that the body matched hardtops remind me of hummers. I know that's sad to say but maybe Chrysler is trying to target hummer buyers seeing they aren't going to be made anymore.

I think the PTM hardtop looks really nice, My only concern would be taking it on and off.
I think the top would be ok as it is only twice a year if you have duals, but my freedom panels get bumped around from the on/off and I would be worried about how they would fare.
I would love see one in black though
Not to thread jack, but speaking of freedom panels, anybody know of a bikini like accessory for them?
Something your could just throw on if the rain kicked in, so you would not need to always have the panels on you?
Cheers

The seats don't have any sort of adjustable lumbar support, but they are plenty comfortable. Pretty much the same adjustments as previous versions of JK'S...

Has there been any other changed to the top other than the paint option? I have a soft-top with my '08 and skipped out on the hard top due to all the "leak" issues I was reading at the time. Does anyone know whether they fixed this in any way?

Definite concern with the painted hard top. We've taken the top off once and the Freedom panels a couple of times and so far so good. Just take my time and being careful. The regular tops can be scratched as well from what I understand. I'll be getting touch up paint for sure and hope I never need any more than that.

The clear coat on my Jeep doesn't take much to mar from branches. While the panels and top are not invincible, I find that they do not mar as much.
Example, when driving thru the woods, my sides mar, but the mar lines stop when they hit the side of the hardtop.
I would just be nervous about the clear coat on the top and panels, especially since the panels can see a lot of activity (on/off).
Cheers
