Default 2010 Mountain Owners?? Photo's? Advice?

Planning on getting my first Jeep this year. Was going to get a Sahara but am a big fan of the rescue green and the Mountain Edition (less the cheesey graphics on the side of the hood).

We don't have one on the lots in NC yet but would like to check out photos of those that own them.

Also, any likes/dislkes? What is worth doing factory vs aftermarket? I was planning on doing the surround fac and the radio after. 2.5 lift after too.

Thanks!

You can order your Sahara in Rescue Green now. You don't have to order a Mountain Edition to get it.

Good to know. The dealers here didn't know it was available in any package this year.

The mountain package price is a bit high but I do like the rubi wheels and mineral gray wheels/bumpers. The hood decal and non body color fenders also help offset the rescue green. IMO it looks great. I have a feeling a Rescue Green Unlimited Sahara with matched fenders could be a bit much.

Wonder if I could add some of those options to the Sahara to make it the same, for less....

Last time I looked at the Jeep website that color wasn't even available in the Mountain Edition. Rescue Green won't be produced at all will it?

Yeah, it can be built as an option off of the Sport w/ the Mtn Pkg selected. You can also build Rescue Green as a std Sport on the jeep site.

Funny thing is.....about 2 minutes after my last post the local Jeep Dealer called me. The same one that said (2 weeks ago) that the Rescue Green color won't be available in 2010, and was last avail in 2008, miraculously landed on their lot today in a Mountain Package!! lol Going to check it out sometime this week. Will take pics and post here.

Rescue Green was just brought back and can be ordered now. The Jeep web site is not totally up to date.

Default Jeep Mountain Photo's

Saw one locally today and got some pics with the iPhone. It was a bit overcast but I had them take it out of the showroom to see the color and test drive. I really like the color and option package.....but that is probably due to my jarhead in me. I was happy with the Rubi wheels/tires and the 3.73. Should be a solid daily driver and weekend offroader

ENJOY!
