Do you remember the guy(lots of posts from/about him in the waiting room), he waited 6 months for his JK, and on the transport truck, from the train to the dealer, HIS jk encountered a low bridge? That was one of those times we were clearly shown Chrysler really looks out for it's customers. His Jeep was totaled, they 'fast tracked' his replacement order, and he only had to wait 6 more months for it. Chrysler Cares!

I waited 7 months for my 2008 Rubi. I don't know if I could go through that again.

That's one of the sadder tales of woe in there. He went through the full six month wait, and his Jeep was totaled 5 min. before it got to his dealer. I mean that is better than 5 min. after he took delivery, but damn........Chrysler, with all their tender mercy, didn't seem to rush, by so much as 1 day, his replacement Jeep to him.
Go look around in the waiting room from hell. There are some pretty sad stories in there, like the guy from Montana who quietly waited close to a year from order to delivery. Lot's of laughs, so long as you can cry at the same time.

My dealer placed my order the first day DC was excepting the '08 orders, June 5 '07, so I just don't count the 2 months before they even started building the '08's, so my wait was 7 days over 3 months. I guess in English that's 97 days, once they started building '08's. Worth every minute of it!

Well I'm definately going to check out the waiting room...

I just ordered my 2009 Wrangler Rubicon ("shorty" 2 door). I was told October, then I wait for it to be put on a boat... hopefully the end of October.

Cheers
Knot~

I didn't have to wait, I placed my order and they told me I could pick it up the next day, but I decided to get an 08 so then I did wait for the 08s to come out (about a month) then my jeep arrived and somehow I didn't want to pick it up, so I left it at the dealership for about a month. Then one saturday I woke up and thought I should go get the jeep. so I did.
