No, I don't. Everything I've read indicates that a Flashpaq makes things worse.

Yep. Not necessarily with the ETC light, though. The SC Flashpaq makes some of its power gain by leaning out the mixture at wide open throttle (WOT), since stock it's overly rich. The bigger TB leans it out at WOT, too, since it flows more air. Combined, the result is a too-lean condition that causes the engine to throw codes.

That's what I've read, anyway.

i just use 87 nothing at all special (atleast not yet) bc i want to make sure its running fine and plus hell its a cheap mod and its been getting me better mpg so ill keep everyone updated after my 1800 mile trip down to AL then up to NC, then back to VA. and when im in AL ill be doing quite abit of offroading on all sorts of terrain. so after that if im not having any problems with the TB i dont' know what other people are doing unless its something with the older models and the ECU. (i have a 2011 6 speed).

Your Flashpaq will give better results than the TB since it's altering fuel curves and ignition timing.

It would be nice if Superchips (or Diablo, or BullyDog, or...) would design a tune for this TB that would take advantage of the airflow and resolve the "steep downhill" issue. Maybe they've already looked at it, though, and the bigger TB just doesn't provide enough benefit to make it even worth doing.

So far no problem at all driving down and going on trails and making my own! It's going to be a longer road trip then I thought so good time to test. VA to alabama, then to NC, then to fl, then back home to va.

Default Back from my drive

Well after putting around 2,800 miles on the jeep since 2 thursdays ago. i have had absolutely no problems with the Viper Throttle body. in this time lots of road driving, and off road driving as well in AL and in Tenn. my next step is going to get a K&N drop in and see if this will effect it any. but so far on a stock 2011 there is no issues.
