Ups guy showed up today with some goodies from btf.
I got the factory front spring and shock mounts burned off. Then worked on welding on the btf rear truss/ link mount. Welded up a peice that connects the diff cover to truss for even more strength.

Nothing wrong, the diff fills from the front side.

Got the rear axle under the jeep. Welded up the upper link frame mounts. Ran out of welding wire so I'm done till Sunday.

Need to go get my .250 wall tubing for the rear links.

Got the rear upper link brackets tacked on frame. Upper link brackets tacked on truss. Should be picking up .250 wall tubing this week to start building rear upper/lower links.

Links will be around 40" in length.

Got lower link tabs tacked on axle. Used some scrap wood to simulate links for clearance issues.

I have to build a crossmember to mount the frame side of the lower links. I'm going to build it the same height as the factory jeep crossmember then run a big peice of 1/4 plate.

This will give me a big totally flat belly to slide over rocks.
