I got the front coilover towers cut to fit and tacked in tonight. I was going to make the lower axle tabs but decided to use 3/8 plate and didn't have enough.

These brackets will attach the lower control arm and coilover to the axle tube so I'm making them out of 3/8" plate. They will be bashed hard on the rocks.

If you make it to Moab, I'll see you there - it would be great to run some trails with you. I doubt my suspension will be done by then, but hopefully I will be Hemi-powered.

Sorry, I'm lazy and don't want to read back through the thread - what size King shocks are you using?

I'll be ls2 powered eventually. That's my next project after I get the suspension and cage done.

Kings are 2" diameter, 14" travel FR and RR.

I got the front lca/lower coilover mount done lastnight on the driver side. Almost got the passenger side done.

Everything Fabbed from 3/8 and 1/4" plate. I'll have the tires on this w end.

I may have to make some taller c/o towers to get the amount of uptravel and ride height I want. If I do it's gonna b a pita. I'll have to relocate accessories in the engine compartment.

I'll post some pics this w end when I can roll it out of the garage.

Looks great and very strong - nice work. Interested to see if you have to move the towers up higher and how you re-arrange the engine compartment. I have the same concern about my build, which is why I decided to do the engine first...Looking forward to pics this weekend!

Got the front done. I will have to move the towers up. I had to mount my coilovers on top of the axle tube because the driver side doesn't have very much room to work with. I lost around 2". If you mount the c/o half way down the axle tube I think u will be fine, I just didn't have space.

I just want my ride height lower than how it sits.

I couldn't get ride height as low as I wanted so it was time to start cutting.

I had to remove the ESP box on driver side. Had to get rid of airbox and relocate fuse panel on passenger side.

I didn't want to mess with all that stuff but couldn't get my ride height on 42's where I wanted it.
