2008 rubicon build
I bought it used this march. It had 295 nittos. I put it on 37"s with chopped fenders, then 5" of lift with 40's.
Now for the real fun to start. I will be fabricating everything in my 3 car garage.
Plans are:
Front 60/rear sterling 10.5 out of a late model ford. 5.13-5.38 gears, Detroit in rear, arb up front
4 link up front with panhard bar, double triangulated 4 link in rear, no need for panhard bar.
Fully hydraulic steering or hydro assist. Haven't decided yet.
King coilovers front and rear. Through tub in rear to custom crossmember.
Rear mounted tj gas tank or fuel cell. Factory tank is in the way of everything.
Full cage
40-42" tsl's
Eventually a real motor.
I have front and rear rubicon axles for sale and some Spidertrax spacers listed in the classifieds.
5 lug wheels sold pending payment. Axles will be out this w end. Picking up new axles next w end.

Got the front axle out and removed the rear lower control arm brackets. Also removed rear frame track bar mount.
Still have to cut off the front control arm brackets and coil spring brackets.
Picking up 1 ton axles this week.

Got the 60 front and sterling 10.5 rear today. Will work on cutting off all the ford brackets this weekend.
I don't see the front axle c's ever bending on these, they are massive.
Some heavy beaches!
