Default 2007-2010 Engine/Transmission Compatibility HELP!

Does anyone know if I can "drop in" a 2010 JK engine AND transmission into my 2007 JK? My local dealers think I shouldn't have any problem as long as I use my existing '07 wire harness.... but that's not good enough... I need to know with 100% certainty before moving forward... Will my 2007 wire harness interface with the 2010 engine/tranny? I know the block is the same but is there any differences in how it mounts to the chasis?

I swamped my Rubicon over memorial day weekend and it's sitting at my local dealer. I was planning to have the 50k mile engine remanufactured by Jasper..... but for less money I can get my hands on a "new" stock OEM 2010 engine and transmission combo from AEV.

If it's a relatively simple "plug and play" swap, that would be my preference over remanufacturing my old engine. Any experts out there??

Help!

Go to :
www.mopar-wholesale.com

look around and see if the part numbers match what your hoping to do. Or just call them. They are extremely helpful in what you need. Best I can help you with.
