Hey guys, had a JKU that I sold a while back and thinking about getting another jk but a 2door this time, any of you guys have kids and have enough room
for them with car seats(I have one now and one on the way) any PICS to show the amount of room, Is it a PAIN to get them in and out?? any info would be greatly appreciated!

Can't imagine that would be easy. Maybe with a soft top?

well it will always have the doors and top off(bimini top plus only) and it would be a 3rd vehicle but I also dont want to never use because its to much of a pain to get the kids in and out, but I thought it might be a little different and a little less expensive to pick up a 2door.

It's a pain for my teenage kids to get in tehe back. I couldn't see 2 young kids in car seats being easier. Don't get a 2 dr with wee little ones. My opinion.

2 door is a pain in the ass if you have young kids......stick with a 4 door.

2 door is a 2010.....wifes...........................4 door is a 2011....mine....

because I got tired of flipping the back seat for our 12 year old for one year......It got old fast
so that is why I got a unlimited......everyone is happier now including our dog!

I only have one little'un and my 2 dr works fine. Would be easier with a 4 dr for sure but then I'd miss out on the 2 dr drive. It's all a compromise.

They're 8 & 9 so only use booster seats. To them there's plenty of space back there and a nice view

Appreciate all the advise, not so worried about the room, just the ease in which get them in and out. Sounds like another 4door maybe in my future, just was really looking forward to trying out a 2door. Maybe if they were just a little older it would be fine, getting themselves in and out would be fine but I guess for my wife and I to try and get back there carrying them would be a pain.

We bought an equinox as the family wagon. Mines almost a month old and the wife said it is too hard to lift him in and out of the back seat. I would say the two door only if your kids are old enough to get in and out with little help
