it looks like the top will hold water in the front section, what do you think?

no, it'll run off. We have had alot of rain, snow, freezing rain lately. No issues.

the only thing you have to watch is presure washing the rear window, You can spray water inside. If you at an angle upwards. Its not a big deal. Just something to look out for.

(do you see any way that the side rear windows could be rolled up/under or otherwise tucked out of the way so that it could be used as a bikini/safari style top? with no rear crossbar on the rollbar I am not sure if it would be possible to hook it down, but i am very curious)

I hear ya on the salt. my side windows are fine, but the zipper on the rear one is beginning to show signs of corrosion/imminent failure.

I only have the hard top for my 2 dr as i really dont like the factory soft top. this looks like a good option. thanks for posting.

It looks like it doesnt have the internal frame of a stock soft top. So the middle looks depressed. Or is this an illusion? Looking at my soft top (stop), it bubbles up.

Can you get some internal photos? And does it still lay back like the stock top?

it has no internal frame work at all, the top rests on the roll bars and door surrounds..
