That kicked my ass. I guess it took about 12 hours. I can't see how people do it in 5. I'll do pix tomorrow. I have become very intimate with my hard concrete floor in the garage. Up an down... up and down. I'd go to do something and the wrench or socket would be on the other side of the jeep, get up again.
I had two WTF issues. The rear track bar bracket holes didn't line up so I had to ream out the holes quite a bit. The other one was the front shock extenders reuse the top nut and that didn't thread on very good, I had to do a little extra work to make it right.
What's up with reusing certain nuts and bolts. The kit should just give you all new. And what's up with the metric crap.
All in all It is a nice set up. It drove fine, steering wheel was centered. I think the rear only shifted about 1/4" and the front is a bit more, like 1/2" to 3/4". I think I'll save for the adjustable front track bar. I also did the Teraflex quick disco's. I'm guessin that the more you disco the easier it gets as far as sway bar movement.
I gained just under 3" of lift, smashed my finger once and got a scrape on my arm but I learned alot about my jeep and that is what matters, I didn't have to pay someone and now I have that much more money to do something else.
I think I am now worthy of putting a JK forum sticker on the jeep.
Pix tomorrow. Thanks for everyones input in all of the other threads and pointers I picked up on this site to make it a smoother install.
Over and out. Ken
