They dont do a damn thing for the lift in and of itself, they do however make the track wider.

They made mine feel more stable after the lift, they round it out IMHO and make the overall Jeep look better.

Edit: there may be interference issues on the rear with the extended links. I did not install these on my 2dr, didnt need 'em & didnt come with the lift. I ran mine for a while without spacers and without issue

Thanks for the thread! This is exactly what I have had in mind as to what I have planned for my rig and it's great to see it come to life before it's done. Also, the bit about the track bar help out a ton. I'll post my picks when I finish mine. As of now it's in the mail and on the way but unfortunately may have to be put aside until I buy adjustable track bars and until I can find a day to install it or have it installed while I'm in medic school.

Default 2.5 bb & spacers

I went with the teraflex 2.5 bb and have the spidertrax spacers, but i did upgrade to 275 70 17 on the stock 17" wheels.

I had ordered an X but it took sooo long to get in, so i went online and found one about 250 miles away, my dealer went and got it and i love it.
The strange thing about it, when the guy got back to the dealership with it, it had 600 miles on it. it also had the 4x4 off road sticker above the rear tires and had the 17x7.5 wheels which i think is not stock on the X, but is stock on the Rubis?
I went with A/Ts instead of M/Ts because of the 500 miles a week i drive.

Bobtail82 (Tony) did the lift for me and everything works great

Gerryc thanks for those pix, i think i will be going with those 305 70 17s
