I ran with a TF 2.5" for quite awhile before getting my 35's and I didn't mind the look. I did have Rubi take-off's though, the stock AT's do look a bit strange on a with a lift. Well, they look a bit strange on a Wrangler at any height IMO.

2.5 inch lift with stock tires/rims
I've just put on the Teraflex 2.5 inch coil lift with bilstein shocks yesterday. Haven't got the cash for the bigger tires yet, but i'm saving for 35 inch tires. I don't think it looks too bad, but can't wait til i get the new tires.

Any more pics of a 2.5 lift on stockers? I just got a brand new set of Rubi take-offs on my 2012 Sport S and it looks great now with spacers (purchased the vehicle with the 16" cookie cutters). Really debating leaving it as I save my $ for 35's and the lift or get the lift relatively soon.

I have a similar issue - want to put a lift but think it might look of with the tires i'm running. I got a set of tires/rims dirt cheap ($200) so couldn't pass up, but they measure 31.5 and 11" wide. They look better than my stock did because they are wider and backspaced, but they are slightly smaller, my stocks from my Sahara were closer to 32.5 or something.
Does anybody have a pic of a lift with a set of wheels close to 31.5"?
