2.5" lift and stock tires

Im having the same dilemma, I want to go with the AEV 2.5" lift but can't swing the bigger tires just yet....so I had an idea of putting spacers on to bring the stock wheels/tires out a bit further past the fenders, just so the tires don't have that weird look that seems like they're tucked in too much after the lift is put on
I haven't done this yet, its just an idea for a quick fix

i don't think that is looks too bad. I'm going to get the lift and install it. I'll save for the tires instead of waiting and doing both at the same time. Thanks for the input and pictures. More pictures are always welcome.

These are the Smittybilt SRC Side Armor, My only problem with these was the fitment issues I had while installing them. I had to use a dremmel and a drill to widen a hole so that it would fit.
I would not recommend anything from SmittyBilt at this point, I have an issue with that company's lack of attention to quality, there are other rails that are around the same price point that fit perfectly like the ACE rails. However, if you have no problems with doing a little drilling and cutting on a brand new rail, then go ahead, once they are on they are great.
