'14 Billet Silver Unlimited Build
Now that I have an ETA on all my parts I figured I would start a build thread for my wife's new Jeep. We picked up a '14 Unlimited Sport as my wife's new daily and our weekend get away toy. No plans for hardcore wheeling, just some trail riding and occasional trip to the river during the summer. It will also serve as rolling business card for the two accessory stores I am the sales manager for.
First round of goods:
Rough Country 4" basic suspension. I will be upgrading to their long arm kit next spring
Rough Country 2.2 dual steering stabilizer
Rough Country exhaust Y pipe spacer
37" Fuel M/T tires
17" Fuel "Trophy" wheels. Anthracite centers and black rings
Rough Country front stubby bumper with stinger
Rough Country brake pump relocation bracket
8K winch
Warrior rear rock crawler bumper (no tire carrier)
SmittyBilt 76837 narrow fender flares
Trimmed rear pinch weld
Rough Country 50" dual row LED light bar (70504)
Rough Country 50" windshield light brackets (70050-1)
Gatorhyde spray in bed liner on the grill shell and I will be doing the interior floor also
Also painting the chrome head light bezel's black
Tinting the tail lights and front turn signals
8K HID's in the head lamps and factory fogs. The Rough Country front bumper retains them
4.10 ring and pinions front and rear. Has factory 3.21's. I'm doing the 4.10's because I already have a free set and my 13 wrangler with 3.73's did great with the 37's.
Not sure what locker or posi I will go with in the rear yet
I will also be installing some C's when the long arm conversion goes.
I'm still trying to win the argument that it needs some rock sliders with a step and she wants power steps. Seeing as its her daily and she's pregnant with our 2nd kiddo, I have a feeling it will get power steps...
Anyway, here's a couple pics from the first weekend we picked it up
Hoping to get started on it Monday or Tuesday depending on the work load my staff has.

It's gonna look good when ur done! But at least get the smittybuilt oversized tire carrier for $75. I had that on my Sahara with a 37" km2 on it just fine.

Not going to be running with a spare at all. With it being the wife's D.D and having to wrangle 2 kids and throw groceries in the back we decided to go with out one for the time being.

I'm the lucky one to have such a cool wife. Already changing a couple things. She absolutely wants a rear bumper with tire carrier so we're going with the Rancho RS6221-B. Not much of a rear bumper, but I think it will mesh well with the front one. Also she's gonna give it a shot without any steps to see if she can handle getting in and out of it daily.

Forgot to post earlier, but for those with 14's the rear pinch weld no longer has to be cut, they have redone them from the factory and are as angled and short as my '13 was after cutting it.

Earlier in the week I installed the front bumper, winch and 50" light. Today we are going to knock out the lift, wheels, tires, flares and rear bumper. Just pulled her into the shop to start tearing it down. With any luck, she'll have a nice altitude adjustment by late afternoon
Pics of the light in action. This thing is legit, I highly recommend it.
And Jesus said let there be light. Pictures do not do this thing justice.
And quick shot of the new shoes
And ready to go up on the 2 post
