Got the same color Sahara thinking about doing the same thing to mine. How much lift you got on yours with those 35's? And where did you happen to get your hard top painted at? A local or something like Maako?

Default Update....6000K HID Conversion at Night!

Ok,
Finally got around to snapping some pics at night.....so you can see how the 6000K HID Headlamp and Foglights.....Light up the Road!
This IS the BFXenon conversion in the factory headlamp and foglight buckets.
Here's the view with the lights Off!

Here's the view with just the headlamps on....the sidewalk straight out...is almost 40 yards from the front of the jeep!

Here's the view with headlights and fogs....notice how well they fill in the empty area from the front of the jeep....to the main beam of the headlights!

Hope this helps those making the decision for swap!

personally I think its dumb to do a motor swap to a 1 year newer engine, thats smaller(displacement wise) and only a few more ponies. Doesn't make sense to me. I like to work on things also but if I'm going to work that much on something its going to be something a little better than upgrading the motor 1 year. Sorry thats just my opinion. However with that said, its your jeep and I'm hoping that you prove me wrong and I'm looking forward to seeing if you can. Do like your jeep right now though. It looks pretty good.

I hear ya bro....But......I've done a ton of Hemi swaps....Hell, I only had my challenger (2) weeks before I had it all torn down and pushing almost 800 RWHP!! Tons of fun!! Also built (4) other New Gen Challengers for buddies. To do the Hemi swap right....all the running gear needs to be swapped, suspension and a few other week points beefed up with some welded on plates. I'm doing a long drawn out build...with the littel funds I have.....and Of course....Enjoy the heck out of the ride while I'm doing it!
The biggest issue though....Is I bought the Jeep for my Wife.....as a daily driver. The Pentastar is a no brainer. Easy swap, the HP and TQ matched the rest of the Jeep running gear capabilities without doing more swaps.... and it wont put my Girl in trouble.....when she mashes the pedal!!! Forced induction is always another way to go....I'll work that after the base HP and TQ are where I want them. For now....I'll be throwing the gingerbread on...Gears, Drivelines, Bumpers, Winch, lights, CB and cargo hauling equip....That's about 10K right there!!! A jeeps alot like owning a Harley.....Never done spending $$$$
