I didn't like the idea of my softball gear sitting out in the open so I got a piece of 3/4" OSB, a hinge, handle and eye bolts and created a solid trunk cover. I've loaded it with about 50lbs of gear with out any problem (I'm sure if I put a support it could handle more).I wrapped the final product with a piece of black fabric which has faded enough to match the gray interior so it blends in really nicely. If you have any questions about how I made it please just let me know. It seems pretty self explanatory but there are a lot of idiots in the world so you never know.
