Smile Snatch Strap Recovery - Video & Warning Hunty

Hi Guyz
I thought for the benefit of the Newby's and those of us who sometimes get a bit casual when performing a Snatch type recovery I would post up a video showing just how dangerous a snatch strap can be when something lets go!
the 2 videos below are of the same thing so if you just want to see the FAIL snatch its at 40sec in on pt 2 and 12:49min in on pt1.

The video is a little compile I did for the Sydney Jeep Club - SJC Highlights from Jeep Jamboree Australia 2010

Warning to all snatch strap users -
SNATCH STRAPS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS to the inexperienced user!
1. Make 100% sure your strap is in good condition - check every inch/mm.
2. Ensure your vehicle connection points are 100% up to the task.
3. Use multiple dampeners to slow down any potential missiles.
4. Ensure ALL bystanders and assistants are well out of the potential flight path of bull bars, tow hooks, tow balls/bars, Dbolts, shackles and snatch strap material.

Have Fun and keep safe whilst Wheelin
Cheers Hunty
