When we get snow I usually drive in 4HI never had any problems.

One time... you should be fine. Since nothing was binding until you turned into your driveway the most "damage" you could have done would have been at that point. Just don't go over 55 again in 4hi

it's no big deal. Just don't make a habit of running the drive train in 4wd on dry pavement at hwy speeds.

I'm gonna have to disagree.

The only way you would get binding on tires on the same axle is if you had a locker or really good LSD in the diff. If it's open, then it won't bind 'cause the diff will let one wheel spin faster than the other.

The bind you get from driving in 4x4 on dry ground is from your front & rear wheels trying to turn at the same speed, right...

No big deal at all, just wouldn't make a habit of it, I've gone a lot faster than 70mph with my F-350 in 4hi, never had an issue
