which psi for 33 inch tires
#3
The off-road shop that put on my wheels and tires put 40 psi in my 33" tires. After reading several posts on the forum, I dropped down to 32. But dropping the psi also dropped about 1.5 miles off my mpg. Acceleration also seemed a little sluggish with lower pressure. I went back to 40 psi and have kept it there. Some people may say the ride is rougher with higher pressure, but I couldn't tell any difference.

ok heres the deal if you keep your 33s at 40lbs you will wear the inside tread on your tires quicker than the outsu=ide treads , so less milage out of your tires, but you will get more mpg , becuase theres less rolling resistance, i run my 33s at about 33lbs in front and 35 in the rear on the street , off road i go to between 16lbs and 18 lbs , i get a nice belly in the tire and havent broken a bead , i hope this helps you out
