PowerTank vs Instant Air

Bummer. I just contacted Instant Air and Nate said they were forced to shut the web site down. Their tank supplier went out of business and they can't find a new one that is close to their prior price point. I was hoping to not go with Power Tank based on price but now I may have no choice. Hopefully Nate can get it resolved but I wanted you all to be aware.

You may want to consider piecing together a kit yourself. Try finding a used tank from a welding supply store.

I put together my own Kit by using my local welding store and Napa for about $120 including a full 10# tank, regulator, hose, in-line gauge, and a plastic boot from Powertank. The only thing I'm missing is a regulator guard similar to the handle Powertanks come with.
