Noob Winch question(s)

A few things to note about winching when you do get one.
Never winch with an automatic in park. You will brake off the park tab if you do.
Steer your tires to the direction you are winching in. A broken tie rod could be the result if you dont.
Don't use your winch more than 30 seconds without letting it cool for at least 15 seconds before you start again unless you don't want your winch to last very long.
Good idea to put your hood up to protect your windshield.
Place a coat or something similar on the cable just in case it does break to dampen the stored energy.
