Default Another trick!!!

We use Pledge furniture polish on the leading edge of our aircraft wings. The bug guts at low altitude dry on the paint like concrete and take tons of elbow grease to get off. This is cheap and easy. Although I haven't used it on the Jeep, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Any thoughts?

Do you use the lemon scented pledge for that job? I went wheeling last weekend and forgot to use anything to keep the mud off, now I'm paying for it!

Out of everything I've used, silicone spray did the best. Haven't tried PAM (the spray kind, my girlfriend's name is Pamela but no chance of getting her to clean off the mud, she doesn't even clean her own Z-71) but I'll have to steal it out of the pantry.

And I know what you mean GARUBICON, $8 at the spray car wash (we're on water restriction here) to get the dang mud off and the Jeep relatively clean. Left a bunch of it clogging the drain!

Low water crossings work pretty well. that's how I wash the Jeep when it gets dirty. SPLASH!!!!! Try putting a sprinkler or other water spraying device on it for 30-40 mins. Or just go to the coin wash and drop 10.00 or 20.00 and just use the hot soapy suds on the spray gun and get in there real good. I'm always spraying out sand and stuff from the finders.

One day off fun makes two days of cleaning, I will clean it just to see how many people will think that I wont take it in the mud the next day.

I love that! A lot of people think I am a poser cuz of how clean I keep my jeep inside and out, but then I show them the pictures and they realize I am just a clean freak.
