I haven't been offroad yet but I like my manual for driving to work. It's about 32 miles one way but I like that I can control the speed in stop and go traffic without riding the brake.

You can say the same thing about your jeep minivan. You should have bought a Sienna.

I was in the same state you are in when i bought mine, but i went with the manual because of the constant control you have in your power, and who doesn't want to feel like your driving a race car!Although it nothing close.

I was planning on getting an auto but the right deal came with a 6spd. Love it. Only set back is that I just got a job in Indiana and I live N. of Chicago. Chicago rush hour SUCKS. other than rush hour traffic I'm glad I got the manual. GF can drive it too but wants a jeep of her own. win win

Default manual

i enjoy my manual it makes off roads a little more of a challange for i have stalled it a few times trying to creep. but on roads i really like going through the gears. like people have said its more of your driving instead of just going.

that and not everyone knows how to drive a manual all the more excuse to not let others drive your baby..... and girls like it when you teach them how to drive your stick
