How'd you pull that one off? Put some boards underneath it so it would slide down?

You're making me feel very old !! A fresh-faced Richard Dreyfus straps a wire cable between a concrete column and the rear axle of the cop car, then shouts obscenities, and cop car takes off...literally....a great scene, a great movie... http://www.standbyforjustice.com/original.html

I was asked to winch a couple of palm trees away from my friends house while the tree trimmer topped them. I agreed after getting his references and a gaurentee that he would not hit the winch cable. Lets say Ive seen a Grand Wagoneer (my Dads) fly I will never to that again or atleast not with my jeep

Okay Elan I'll play...two things I've seen in the past few months:
1. Two idiots in Moab playing tug of war with their winches stupid idea. <-- sorry I was reminded that it was a tow strap they were using not their winches but just as dumb!
2. Tearing apart a rotted out tree that had fallen onto the trail so we can build a ramp and drive over it...GREAT Idea!

I'm not sure about a photo, He tossed a strap over a limb, hooked it to his food bags then hooked the other end to his winch line and hoisted it up!!
