I have a Halon type nautical fire extinguisher on mine. Those are the best in terms of putting down the fire and a good thing is they do not leave a mess out of it.

It's still on green but I've had it for more than three years now so likely need to send otmover for a check and recharge.

I carry both an ABC and a BC fire extinguisher. The stuff that comes out of the BC tends to be less destructive to surrounding materials if you need to use it.
