Here is an update thus far. The shop I took it to replaced my steering gear and gave me a new steering stabilizer since my last one was shot... They said they could not duplicate the DW... which is really weird because I couldnt drive it without DW. I drove it home and did not have an instance of DW but at 55-60 mph it still shifted just enough to make me think it was right on the verge of full on DW. So for now I guess the problem is hidden? probably from the steering stabilizer... I replaced the tires since they were fairly worn anyway, and it made it slightly better. I guess for now I will just ride it out until one of those components goes out of whack and messes everything else up again.

OP - check out the edge automotive in englewood (denver) since you're close. they are amazing and fixed mine up right away. new track bar, new SS, alignment and it was good to go - I'm thinking the trackbar and alignment are what really solved it...my new trackbar was just swapping from rancho to OME anyway, not a big diff.
I never thought of it that way. I guess the wheels going crazy would kinda hide the axle going berserk. Makes sense.

This is based on planman's vids and everything I have read - thats why ovaled bolt holes and track bars that flex (deflect) and worn joints are usually the main factors.......again, this is based on my readings - my personal experience i'm thinking was definitely the track bar joint.

Any ideahs? I have had 2 shops look at everything to include the track bar. I retorqued every under the sun, and aside from taking the whole front end apart and seeing if there are stuck bushings, It all looks good, and everyshop says they can not find anything wrong. I have had it aligned and balanced... my tires are a week old, and I still git a shimmy at 55 mph... probably due to my new steering stabalizer covering up the death wobble.

Does a road force balance really do anything? i had the wobble with two sets of tires so im not sure if it would be worth it to fork over more cash for another balance... my tie rod does not have any plan nor does my drag link but im damn close to replacing them anyway... I have just about ruled everything else out...

Replaced Balljoints
Replaced Steering Gear Box
Replaced Tires
New Steering Stab
Checked Teraflex Adj Trackbar for ovaling
Checked for play on damn near everything
Tires Balanced and Rebalanced
Steering Aligned...

and yes I have watched all the Videos for DW

which trackbar do you have? is it the teraflex monster trackbar (with the adjustable collar that can be adjusted will bolted in) or the old heim joint style that teraflex used to make? post a pic if possible.....doesn't sound like your tires will do anything

I have the adjustable teraflex with the collar... I'll try and get pics today... I crawled under and torqued everything in sight and reset my tow to 1/8... still no change... I think I am going to adjust it out little by little because it seemed to drive better with less toe in
