2009/2012 hard top swap
I have damaged my 3 piece hard top assembly on my 2009 3dr Rubicon. I may have access to a 2012 assembly, will it fit? Obviously including the wider glass upper tailgate.

Yes they fit, you will have to remove the rear aligment pins on the new top, as you body does not have the holes drilled into it. The freedom panels are the same from 09-12 just some seal differences.
You may have issue with the rear wiper wiring. ( been told its different plug ends)
I have on my 09 a back half off of a 11 and am running 07 freedom panels. It all fits fine.
So 07-08 freedom panels are the same, 09-12 are the same( minor seal changes) 07/08 09/12 the center latch moved for locking the panels toghter. 07-10 back halfs are the same ( seal differences as well) 11-12 are the same ( larger windows and 4 aligment pins). Thats the way it breaks down for tops. Don mix and match freedom panels ( left to right) keep the same year freedom panels but mixing the back half of the tops to the freedom Panels is ok. Phisicaly the tops have no changed size or shape so they all fitany years new to old, old to new.
